After an introduction to the traditional milongas in Buenos Aires in early December, we shall take an in-depth look at one of the most renown tango salons in history - La Confiteria Ideal - in a documentary by Jana Bokova in the January edition of ARTango Cultural Series.
Founded by Manuel Rosendo Fernandez, a Spanish immigrant and entrepreneur, around 1912, La Ideal has been featured in internationally acclaimed motion pictures such as The Tango Lesson.
