Dancing tango can be
magic, a glorious experience that’s well worth savouring. But that’s not always
the case: we often come to the dance floor after the stress of a Hong Kong work
day. So it’s often not until the event is almost over that we can relax and
start to enjoy it, and even then - well, the life style really doesn’t prepare
our bodies to dance.
Happily help is at hand in
Studio on Queens. Mona is offering a course to Prepare your body for tango
based on her experience as a dancer and teacher. It’s a small investment of
time to help you get the most out of your tango. The aims are increase your
flexibility and core strength, and at the same time help you develop better body
awareness.
Men and women should come in comfortable clothing that can stretch
and can be used on the floor. No skirts or nylons please.
