Visiting Tango Instructors 2 Months, 3 Weeks ago
I see Damian Esell & Nancy Louzan are going to teach in Shanghai. I've seen this couple in BsAs and thought they were brilliant. This is the type of couple that we need to teach in Hong Kong and I'd like to ask if TangoTang is in regular contact with Tango groups in China and other parts of Asia so that we can share teachers who visit the region. I'm sure this would be a lot cheaper than bringing them directly from BsAs only to teach in Hong Kong.

I met them 2 years ago at taipei festival, they came in as a last minute substitute for Ezequel Paludi and Sabrina.

From what I heard, they are pretty expensive.

But I find them to be EXCELLENT too. one of the best 3 argentino couples I have met in person in the last 6 years. They are absolutely STAR quality.

The orgainzers in Shanghai did not write to TangoTang checking the possibility of co-organizing them to Asia before. But then I met Vivian of Shanghai at Taipei festival in Sept. And she asked us to help promote their event to Hong Kong tango community. It was actually me posting the Damian event under "Overseas" column for her. Hope this marks the beginning of a closer relationship between Tangotang and Tangobang.

Also, we worked together with Taipei in bringing Roberto and Sivana to Taipei and Hong Kong in Sept. And we worked with Singapore and Soul twice in bringing Javier & Andrea to Asia in 2007 and 2008. Japan joined in this year too. And there is another project bringing a teacher to Singapore and Hong Kong at the end of the year. And I guess this kind of co-organization will keep going on.
