Private Classes - how to get the most of it

After taking quite a lot of private classes from different teachers in BsAs, We understand more what kind of private classes are more helpful to us and how they are conducted to be most effective to students. Some private classes have immediate impact, and some are really useful that they helped us to correct some long time problems, and some, they don't teach steps, but they taught us the quality of each movement with style and feelings, and aesthetic refinement, which is not easy to be taught in group classes ...

But many people think it's very expensive to take private classes, yes, but if you use them effectively, they worth. Sometimes, you can just take one or two classes and after the classes. We tried to practice what they taught in milongas and practicas, after we can incorporate the techniques into the body, we went back to them for another class. Of course there are some teachers who are so good that we took their private classes regularly because just by dancing with the teachers, we can fine tune our bodies during the classes already.

There are always more ladies than men taking private classes. We understand girls always want to be led by good leaders so that they can feel how a correct lead is like and learn to response to it correctly. This help them improve faster and prevent them from falling into bad habbits using the teacher as a reference. But for MEN, this is the same !!! ... many men develop bad habits because of the girls inadequacy, some of them might be soooo heavy that men have to use force to just to MOVE them, not to lead them, and some girls don't know how to disassociate so men has to use their hands to lead to force the girls to turn ... and with time, all these became bad habbits which you might not be able to realize them if you are dancing with the girls at the same level. But when you dance with a lady of a better level, you might find, how come she doesn't move when i do this? ... And what's more important for us is to fine tune men's lead so that girls can feel more comfortable in men's embrace, which the feeling can be devastating ...
